One thing that you can't deny is that Japanese trains are convenient. They run on time, at regular intervals and are comparatively cheap. But the thing I love about them the most is the information screens inside the carriages. These will keep you informed with the latest news, weather and market prices. They will even teach you English and recommend whether it�� a good day to hang out your washing. However, the most amusing thing is the beer forecast.
This will let you know, just in case you don't know, if it is a good day for a beer or not and to what degree that beer is going to be refreshing. So now there is no excuse to have a quick one on the way home after a hot and busy day, because your commuter train says you should.
